By placing an order through this website, you agree to the terms below. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Bonita Eloise. Please read them carefully before making a purchase. We encourage thoughtful buying, as our products are intentionally made and individually crafted.

1. About Us

Bonita Eloise is a UK-based small business creating handmade and repurposed homeware using vintage and pre-loved materials. Every item is designed, crafted, packaged, and posted by the founder.

2. Our Products

Every Bonita Eloise item is unique. We work with found and sourced materials, which means no two pieces are ever the same.

We may have multiple units available within a small collection, but each unit will differ slightly. That includes differences in markings, colour tone, glaze, Bonita Eloise stamps, drainage hole placement, and visible signs of history.

Some items may have subtle imperfections, auction markings or signs of wear, such as small chips, crazing, or glaze variations. These are not faults. They are part of the piece's story.

You are purchasing a one-of-a-kind item that cannot be perfectly replicated or exchanged for an identical replacement.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By checking out and placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions. This includes agreeing to our policies on returns, product variation, and handmade processes.

4. Pricing

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£).

  • Bonita Eloise is not currently VAT-registered.

  • No VAT will be added and VAT invoices are not available.

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout and shown before payment.

  • We reserve the right to update prices at any time.

5. Orders & Payment

Orders are placed through our secure checkout system using trusted payment processors such as Stripe or PayPal.

Once an order is confirmed, you’ll receive an email confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are typically dispatched within 5–7 working days. All packaging is selected to be as recyclable and eco-friendly as possible, even if it costs more.

Delivery times may vary depending on location, courier service, and weather. If your parcel is delayed, damaged, or missing, please contact us within 7 days of expected delivery.

7. Returns & Refunds

We only accept returns in the following cases:

  • The item arrives damaged

  • The item truly does not meet reasonable expectations

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Variation in pattern, glaze, or condition from the photos shown.

  • Custom or personalised items

  • Sale or discounted items

  • Damage resulting from misuse or poor storage

To request a return, contact hello@bonitaeloise.com within 7 days of delivery.

If approved:

  • Items must be returned within 10 days in their original condition

  • Return postage is your responsibility

  • A £2 admin fee will be deducted from the refund

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 working days of receiving the returned item.

8. Outdoor Products

Products designed for outdoor use such as teacup bird feeders or ceramic planters are still delicate. They should be placed in sheltered areas and checked regularly to ensure they are safe, stable, and not weather-damaged. We are not responsible for damage caused by weather, wildlife, or outdoor use over time.

9. Lost or Damaged Parcels

If an item arrives damaged or is lost in transit, contact us within 7 days of delivery or the expected delivery date. Claims made outside this window may not be eligible for replacement or refund.

10. Product Care

All Bonita Eloise items are made using vintage and fragile materials. They should be handled with care. For outdoor items, we recommend bringing them indoors during frost or heavy rain.

Each piece is lovingly packaged and posted by the founder. We appreciate your patience and care when opening your order.

11. Liability

Bonita Eloise is not responsible for:

  • Injury caused by improper use of any product

  • Natural wear and tear

  • Delays in delivery due to postal issues or weather

  • Allergic reactions or material sensitivities

12. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to interfere with or misuse its content or functionality. We reserve the right to block access in cases of abuse or breach of terms.

13. Intellectual Property

All designs, content, images, and products are the property of Bonita Eloise and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.

14. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
