The Inspiration Behind Bonita Eloise

This story started years ago, when our founder spent weekends volunteering in charity shops, surrounded by bric-a-brac that no one else noticed. There was always something quietly beautiful in those pieces. Something worth saving. That spark never went out.

But it was reignited when her daughter, Eloise, transformed an old doll’s cot into a bookcase. It was a simple act. But one that reminded her what transformation really meant. That moment became the foundation of Bonita Eloise. A space to honour the old and bring something entirely new to life.

Why We Created Bonita Eloise

The Process and Our Commitment

We source all our items individually, by hand. Each one is inspected, cleaned, restored, and either transformed or preserved just as it is. Some are delicate. Some are weathered. All are given the time and attention they deserve.

You may see multiple items in a collection, but each one is slightly different. The Bonita Eloise stamp. The shape of the drainage hole. The wear in the glaze. They will never be exactly the same again. That’s the point. No one else will own the piece you do.

Everything is done personally, including the packaging. It may take time. But it arrives with love.
